What’s New?
Happy New Year!! Happy 2025!!! We hope you all had nice and relaxing holidays! Thank you for all the wonderful gifts you got for us. Your kindness is much appreciated!! It is hard to believe that the New Year is here. The students are doing well. Stay warm this season! Please send your child in with hats, gloves and warm jackets. We do not go outside if it is below 20 degrees. Please do not worry about sending snow clothes until I let you know to do so.
Curriculum
This month, we will talking about boxes, how they are used and what we can make with boxes. We will be learning about positional concepts such as in/out, around, between and so on. We will also be talking about winter animals and snow, day and night and shapes of the moon. We will review kindness, turn taking, sharing and how to be a good friend. We will also work more on identifying our names and the letters in our names. The shape of the month is diamond and the color is blue.
What’s Needed?
Please make sure your child is dressed properly for the cold weather. Please also make sure that ALL of your child’s winter clothing items are labeled with his/her name. This helps when children drop gloves, hats, and so on. Please make sure in the extra clothes bag here at school, you have sent in appropriate clothing for this time of year in the event of an accident, etc.. We wish you a new year filled with much happiness and good health! Other Information…
Thank you to all whom have set in needed supplies. Your generosity is truly appreciated! Please make sure your child has a complete set of clothing to keep here at school in case of accident/spills. Please return the folder everyday. We are so grateful for all of your support!
