Dates to Remember

Friday, May 9th is an early release day for grades K-6 for professional development. NO PRESCHOOL on 5/9! Book orders are due Tuesday, May 14th–last one of the year!! (See instructions below) There is no school on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial day. Our end of the year celebration is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11th for M,W, F friends from 10:15-11:15 AM and 1:15-2:15 pm for our M-Th afternoon friends. Our end of the year celebration for our T, Th friends will be Thursday, June 12th from 10:15-11:15 am. We will be sharing memories of our year, getting certificates and having snacks together. Please limit it to 3 people to attend as space is limited in our classroom. June 11th and 12th are the last days of school for preschool. Tuesday, June 17th is the last day for Kindergarten through Grade 6 and it is an early release day. Dismissal is at 11:50AM. Thank you for an amazing year!

Drop off and pick up is at the preK/K playground door on Burgess School Road. Please pull there when dropping off and picking up your child. Preschool staff will take your child out of the car. Please unbuckle your child once stopped and your child will walk with preschool staff to their line. At pickup time, please stay in your car and preschool staff will walk your child to the car. If someone other than the typical person picks up your child, please email me as we check ids for safety. Thank you! This ensures safety for all as it is a busy traffic time at Burgess. Thank you!

Online Ordering- follow the instructions below

Go to the website, https://orders.scholastic.com/GKHXH Due Tuesday, May 14th
Click on “Parent”
Enter in your user name and password
1. If prompted, the Activation code is: GKHXH
Click the flyer, then “Shop by Order Form” tab at the top. Book Orders due:
Scroll to the bottom of the page, then click “add items” tab at the bottom of page.
Click “Proceed to checkout” to complete your order.
Orders will be shipped to the school and sent home with your child upon arrival.
